Using Noevik models and modes in Oernoe AI

Oernoe AI at ai.oernoe.com is branded Noevik. The product is a conversational assistant, not a Docs editor and not a Search results page. This essay walks through models, modes, Thinking, Image, and Usage Status as a signed-in deep tour saw them on 17–18 September 2026. It also records the failed empty path: a test prompt cleared the composer and produced no visible assistant reply, no thread, and no saved conversation. Author voice is the Oernoe Editorial Team. No personal identifiers. No fake token burn. No invented answer text.

If you need a guarantee that every prompt returns a polished paragraph, this is not that guarantee. The tour’s prompt did not.

## What the AI chrome shows first

Signed-in pages for chat and usage opened directly. Branding read Noevik and Noevik 1 · Oernoe AI. Navigation and controls included Chat, Archive, Delete, New Chat, Select, and No conversations yet. Tokens showed 500. Usage status and Memory Management were visible. Switch to dark mode was available. Plans appeared in the chrome.

Mode options were Normal, 18+, Fun, and Rizz Assistant. Those are product mode labels. Use them as labeled. Do not invent extra modes the tour did not see. Do not treat mode names as a moral ranking. They are switches for tone and boundary settings the product exposes.

The composer said Ask Noevik... with Enter to send. Model choice sat under Choose Noevik model with Noevik 1 and Noevik 1 mini. Thinking toggled to Thinking on. Image toggled to Image on and exposed Attach image. With Image on, the tour also saw Noevik Image 1 mini, Noevik Image 1, and Image mode is ready for creation or edits.

That is the control surface. Models for chat. Modes for tone. Thinking and Image as toggles. Usage Status for remaining free-plan allowances.

## Models: Noevik 1 and Noevik 1 mini

Choose Noevik model offered Noevik 1 and Noevik 1 mini. The tour did not run a side-by-side quality bake-off. It confirmed the labels exist and that the composer is ready to send under the selected model. Prefer Noevik 1 when you want the fuller chat model name the product advertises. Prefer Noevik 1 mini when the UI presents it as the lighter option and your task is short.

## Modes: Normal, 18+, Fun, Rizz Assistant

Normal is the default-shaped choice when you want ordinary assistant behavior. 18+ is an age-gated mode label the product exposes; treat it as a boundary switch, not as a dare. No tokens were consumed by the empty response path.

That last sentence matters. An empty failure did not burn the free allowance on this pass. Do not invent consumption you did not see.

Send cleared the textbox. No assistant answer appeared. No thread appeared. No saved conversation appeared. The sidebar remained No conversations yet.

That is a failed or empty response path. It is part of the product truth for this date. Journal writing that describes Noevik as if every prompt returns a polished reply is false against this tour. Maybe a later day succeeds. This day did not.

If your own prompt fails the same way, note time, model, mode, Thinking and Image state, browser, and whether Usage Status still shows remaining tokens. Write support@oernoe.com with those details. Do not paste secrets into the composer while you debug. Do not screenshot other people’s chats.

## Usage Status on the free plan

Usage Status showed Plan: free; Chat tokens 0 / 500 and 500 left; Noevik Image 1 mini 0 / 10 and 10 left; Noevik Image 1 0 / 5 and 5 left; reset countdown visible. Archive, Delete, New Chat, and Select are conversation hygiene tools once conversations exist. On this tour they had nothing to archive because nothing saved.

Memory Management was visible as a label. The tour did not open a deep memory editor session. Do not invent memory contents. If you use memory features later, assume they store product data for your account and treat sensitive personal facts with care.

## What AI is not on this network

AI is not Docs. Document, Spreadsheet, and Presentation live at docs.oernoe.com and save to Drive. AI is not Search. Search results live at search.oernoe.com with All, Websites, and Knowledge tabs. AI is not Chat. Chat is private messaging with New Chat and requests. AI is not Health metrics, not Tracker habits, and not Account security settings. Mail has not shipped.

The Docs Share dialog still says sharing functionality is coming soon. Drive quota is on the order of 2 GB. Tracker’s Daily Check-In hit permission denied on the tour. Health was landing only. Keep those truths in neighboring essays so AI does not absorb their jobs.

## Privacy, ads, and safety

AI prompts and replies are product data for the AI host. They are not Search ads inventory and not AdSense input. The AI product UI should not load AdSense. Selected finished www pages may. Search queries are not sold as advertising profiles. Do not paste passwords, backup codes, or raw medical records into Ask Noevik. Sign out on shared computers. You must be at least thirteen; under eighteen needs a parent or guardian for account rules published elsewhere.

## Publisher boundary in one paragraph

www.oernoe.com publishes journal essays, Guides, and How-To. Selected finished pages may show Google AdSense with non-personalized requests by default. ads.txt names pub-9477175344230263. Product apps including AI stay in the exclusion set. Older network-wide ad-free claims were false once AdSense entered the publisher. Corrections already said so. This essay will not revive them.

## Closing the loop on models and modes

Noevik 1 and Noevik 1 mini are the chat model choices. Normal, 18+, Fun, and Rizz Assistant are the modes. Thinking and Image are toggles. When you do create later, watch those counters. Stop when you hit the ceiling instead of assuming unlimited renders. Do not upload images you are not allowed to process. Do not attach identity documents or medical scans to debug a toggle. Attach image is a product control, not a vault.

## Archive, Delete, New Chat, and empty states

Archive and Delete only matter once conversations exist. On this tour the sidebar stayed No conversations yet after the failed send. New Chat was available as a control. Select was available for bulk actions that had nothing to select. Those empty states are not a branding failure. They are what a failed first prompt looks like.

## Plans and the free ceiling

Plans appeared in chrome. Usage Status named Plan: free with chat and image ceilings. The tour did not purchase a paid plan and will not invent paid SKUs. If you outgrow 500 chat tokens or the image caps before reset, use the Plans entry the product shows and read the live pricing there. Journal essays should not guess prices.

Reset countdown visibility means the free bucket is time-bounded. Work inside the bucket. Do not assume a failed prompt refunds tokens you never spent — on this tour nothing was spent.

## Prompt craft that still respects the empty path

After a failure, simplify once. Switch from Noevik 1 to Noevik 1 mini or the reverse once. Toggle Thinking off if it was on. If still empty, stop burning attempts and file support. Do not paste the same secret-laden prompt twenty times.

Verify any future successful answer against Search results, Docs sources, or primary sites. Noevik is not Account Policy. It is not a court. It is not Docs Share.

## Neighboring product truths AI must not overwrite

Docs Share says coming soon. Drive holds Document, Spreadsheet, and Presentation rows under about 2 GB. Search results show All, Websites, Knowledge, Filters, and an AI Overview control that was not run on the Search tour. Chat’s New Chat flow asks for a username or address and the messaging tour sent nothing to strangers. Health was landing only. Tracker check-in permission denied. Account Security showed Status: Off for two-factor with setup actions available. Mail has not shipped.

AI essays that ignore those truths create a fantasy network. This one will not.

## Editorial close

Models, modes, Thinking, Image, and Usage Status are real chrome. The free plan ceilings are real. The empty response path is real. Teach people how to stand in front of Ask Noevik without promising a reply the tour did not get.
