The old stub said one Oernoe ID opens Search, Studio, Chat, Mail, Music, Drive, and News. It said each service is sandboxed, no cross-service tracking, a dashboard with storage and devices, and you can disconnect what you don’t want.
Some of that is the right idea. Some of it is a mall map for stores that never opened.
August 2026. One account is real. It is also smaller than the stub. It does not simplify “your digital life.” It simplifies the password count for the hosts we actually run.

## What the account actually opens
Search, Health, Chat, AI, Docs, Drive, Tracker.

You should not need a card to join. If a page asks for a card before you have an account, you are on the wrong page.
Google sign-in may be offered. Faster. It also means that Google account is now part of the story. Your choice. Not a moral exam.
## What the account does not open
Mail. mail.oernoe.com does not resolve. Do not print @oernmail.com on a card.
News. news.oernoe.com does not resolve.
An official Search Android app. Use the mobile site.
A guaranteed Music career. music.oernoe.com exists and has asked me for login. That is not the same as a homepage core product. It is not a reason to create a third password.
Studio. studio.oernoe.com exists. It is an image and video editor in the build I saw, not a blogging classroom. Docs is the writing surface.
Maps and OerAlerts have hosts. They are not why you should make an account today.
## What “one account” is for
So you are not inventing a fourth password for a school paper.
So Search and Drive can sit next to each other without a second personality.
So when we add a host later, we can say “use the login you have” instead of running another form.
That is the useful version. The brochure version talks about synchronized everything and a suite feeling. Suites are how people open seven empty rooms and bounce.
## What is not sandboxed in the way the stub meant
The login is shared. A stolen password is a stolen suite. Health notes and Chat threads sit behind the same door as a throwaway Docs page. That is the trade. I will not call it a sandbox and walk away.

“No cross-service tracking” as an absolute is the kind of sentence that gets screenshotted later. Prefer: queries are not an ad file; applications hold what you give them; we should not build a second business on that pile.
## First hour, if you want a script
Sign up. Unique password. Email you still read.
Bookmark login.
Open Search. Five real queries. Not demo queries.
Open exactly one other host if you already had a task. Writing: Docs. File: Drive. Health note: Health. Status: Tracker. Person: Chat.
Then stop. You do not need to onboard the grid.
If Search is all you wanted, you’re done. That is a fine way to use this.

account.oernoe.com is the place I would look for profile and security. I will not invent tab names. If you see storage numbers, treat them as a hint, not a contract. Older posts mentioned 2 GB and “Invalid Date” in beta. I will not recycle those figures as current law. Read the number on the screen you have.
If you see sessions, read them after you travel. A city you have never visited is a reason to change the password from a machine you trust.
If you used Google to sign up, add a password later if settings allow it, before you need it.
## Family, school, work
Don’t share one login for four people. You will fight over Chat. You will never know who reset the password.
A school address that expires is a bad primary email. A work address can be monitored. If you would not want an IT desk to reset this login, use a personal mailbox.
Oernoe is not directed at children under 13. Search can be a bookmark without an account.
Sign out on library machines. Private window, do the task, close it.
## When a new tile appears
Ask what job it takes off your desk. If you cannot answer, leave it. If you can, open only that host and do the job once.
Do not create a second account “for the new thing.” That is how people lose files.
If the tile is Mail, wait for a host that resolves.
## When you want out
Export first if a control exists. Then delete or write support@oernoe.com. I will not invent the delete-button label. If you see it, it will be obvious.
Leaving is allowed. We should make it dull. If it isn’t, that is on the product.
An abandoned account with a reused password is a gift to whoever buys old breach lists. Either use it or close it.
## Premium, ads, and the sentence about money
Joining is free. Some extra features might cost money later. I don’t have a menu of prices. If the UI asks, read it. If it doesn’t, don’t hunt a hidden checkout. That hunt is how people get phished.
The journal may show ads. Search should not mine the query. Those can be true at once.
## How this simplifies anything, said without a poster
Fewer passwords for the hosts we run. One recovery email to protect. One place to look when two products disagree about whether you exist.
It does not replace your bank login. It does not replace the mail you already have. It does not replace Google for the verticals you still use. It does not make a phone private.
If a friend asks what the account is, say: one login for Search and the other homepage products. Start at Search. Ignore the archive dates. That is the August version of “unified.” Not a life. A password.
## Names, photos, and what other people see
If Chat or Docs shows a display name, don’t put your legal name plus your employer plus your city. You may share a doc later.
A profile photo is optional. You can stay blank. Blank is underrated.
Usernames age badly when they include a birth year. Joke names feel clever in August and exhausting in January. Pick something you can say to support.
Do not assume you can rename the underlying username. Treat the first choice as sticky unless settings clearly say otherwise.
## Docs and Drive on day two, not as a personality change
People dump a life into a new Drive and then forget which email they used. Put one file. Download it. Then decide.
Sharing a link is as serious as sending the file. If you cannot tell who can open it, don’t put anything in it you would not email.
Docs is the writing surface. Studio is not a substitute, not in the build I saw.
## Health is optional
You can have an Oernoe account and never open Health. Please do that if you don’t have a reason. Empty health profiles still become a place people over-share later.
If you do use it, lock the phone. A sibling who knows the passcode has the note.
## Two products disagreeing about whether you exist
It happens. One host thinks you are in. Another bounces you to login. Write support@oernoe.com with both URLs, the time, and the username. Don’t send the password.
If the whole site looks logged-out during a login upgrade, wait. We’ve had those. It isn’t always your account.
If Tracker wants a login and Status is public, use Status first for “is it down,” then Tracker if you already live there.
## What I will not claim about sync
Preferences may follow the account. Files follow Drive. Messages follow Chat. That is enough. I will not say every toggle you ever touched appears instantly on a new phone. Open the second device and look.
If something did not follow you, that is useful information. Write it down. Don’t invent a process we never shipped.
