Chat and Health stay off AdSense by rule

A network that monetizes selected publisher pages and also runs private product hosts needs a rule that travels with the product, not a slogan that travels with the logo. About prints Angel’s standing test: whether a feature gives people more control over their data, or less. If it is less, it does not ship. That test is why Chat and Health do not carry AdSense. Privacy Policy section 1 prints the matching legal mirror: advertising disclosures for www.oernoe.com do not mean advertising is enabled on Chat, Health, or other application surfaces. Cookie Policy section 3 lists the same exclusions. This essay is privacy and company writing about that agreement. It is not a remake of the essay that used guest HTML checks to show Chat, Health, and AI lack AdSense markers. It is not a remake of the essay that centered the data-control test as a general shipping philosophy. The hinge is the paired rule for two sensitive hosts.

## Company voice: the ship gate names Chat and Health

About’s funding section states the money without collapsing hosts. Account creation is free. Some products have optional paid tiers, and those are labeled in the product. Selected finished pages on www.oernoe.com may show Google ads. Oernoe does not sell account or search data, and does not sell journal articles, links, or reviews. Sponsored-post pitches are declined.

Ads do not appear on Search, Health, Chat, AI, Docs, Drive, Tracker, or Account. They do not appear on Home, About, legal pages, or the journal listing. The split is written in Search queries and Google ads so a reviewer does not have to reverse-engineer it from view-source. About’s Angel section then names Chat and Health inside the standing test itself: the test is why Search is not allowed to keep a query file for ads, and why Chat and Health do not carry AdSense. That sentence is a ship gate, not a soft preference. A feature that would put AdSense inside Chat or Health fails the control test before it reaches a launch checklist.

Homepage language matches the gate. www.oernoe.com is the public publisher: journal, guides, How-To, and company pages. Search, Chat, and the other products live on their own hostnames. The live Services directory sends people to Search, Health, Chat, AI, Docs, Drive, and Tracker. Login is account.oernoe.com. Those apps do not load ads. Health is a private workspace for notes and records you choose to keep. It is not a doctor and it does not replace one. Chat is listed for private conversations with account-level controls. Those product sentences already make an advertising script a category error on those hosts. The company page does not need a signed-in tour to say so.

Anoepal exists, About says, so Oernoe can keep running without changing the basic deal: free accounts, labeled paid features, and no sale of account or search data. Contextual ads on selected publisher pages fund finished reading on www. They are not a license to put the same script on every host that shares branding.

## Policy voice: www disclosures stop at the product boundary

Privacy Policy section 1 opens scope carefully. Advertising disclosures apply to selected publisher pages on www.oernoe.com. They do not mean that advertising is enabled on Oernoe Chat, Drive, Docs, Health, Tracker, Account, login screens, or other application surfaces. Section 3 states the complementary Search deal: no sale of account information or search history; no use of search history to create advertising profiles; no providing account or search data to advertisers for their own direct marketing.

Section 4 names eligible www inventory and the exclusions. Selected substantial publisher pages may use Google AdSense, including finished guides and substantial journal articles. AdSense is not loaded on the homepage, About, login or signup screens, protected application pages, legal pages, error pages, the journal index, short or promotional journal posts, the guides index, editorial standards, or Oernoe service subdomains. Ads are requested as non-personalized by default. Google and partners may still process page context, cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, and ad interaction data to serve, secure, limit, and measure advertisements. Oernoe does not receive a visitor’s complete browsing history from Google.

Cookie Policy section 3 names the same exclusion family and includes Search among service subdomains that do not carry the script. Section 3a lists eligible publisher pages: How-To; finished guides including How Search works, Search queries and Google ads, Using an account, What we publish, Which hostname does what, Corrections, and How a privacy request is handled; and journal articles that still pass originality and length checks. ads.txt at the site root names pub-9477175344230263. Pages may carry a google-adsense-account meta tag for publisher verification even when a given URL has no unit. The cookie bar is a notice, not a consent management platform. Company voice and policy voice are describing the same boundary from different chairs. About says Chat and Health do not ship with AdSense. Privacy says www advertising disclosures do not migrate onto those hosts. If either sentence alone were soft, the other would be asked to carry the whole load. Printed together, they are a rule.

## Sensitive surfaces, not a special exception list for marketing

Health holds notes a person chooses to keep. Putting an ad network’s script on that surface while someone reviews personal material is not a small banner decision. It changes the product. About’s doctor disclaimer already refuses medical theater. The AdSense ban refuses monetization theater on the same surface. The data-control test is how the company explains the refusal without inventing a new privacy vocabulary for every host.

Chat holds private conversation under account-level controls. An advertising unit inside that surface would turn the conversation host into publisher inventory. Privacy’s scope sentence exists so that migration cannot be implied from a www guide that happens to load AdSense. The shipping rule exists so the product team cannot treat a unit as a harmless experiment on a sensitive host.

Search sits beside them with a related refusal that must stay distinct. Search does not use queries to build advertising profiles. That is a query-file rule, grounded in Privacy section 3 and How Search works. Chat and Health’s AdSense ban is a surface rule: where the publisher script may load. The two rules support each other. They are not interchangeable slogans. Collapsing them into “Oernoe never touches Google” recreates the zero-tracking failure Corrections already named.

How Search works states the complementary funding answer without moving units onto product hosts. Oernoe uses optional premium features and contextual Google ads on selected publisher pages. Search queries are not sold or used to build advertising profiles. Ads on a publisher guide are disclosed in the Privacy and Cookie policies. That answer funds finished reading on www. It does not rewrite About’s Chat and Health ship gate, and it does not rewrite Privacy section 1.

## Corrections still blocks the collapsed reading

Corrections opens with the site-wide promise that failed. Older homepage and product copy talked as if the whole Oernoe network had no ads, no cookies, and no third parties. That was false once this publisher site applied for Google AdSense. Search still does not use queries as an advertising file. Selected finished pages on www.oernoe.com may show Google ads, and Google may process page context, cookies, IP address, and device data on those pages. Both sentences have to be true at once.

Chat and Health staying off AdSense is how the product half of that honest split stays true. Selected www guides and substantial journals remaining eligible is how the publisher half stays true. Pretending the product ban erases www AdSense is the old slogan again. Pretending www AdSense licenses units inside Health notes is the opposite failure. About, Privacy, and Cookies already refuse both failures. The data-control shipping rule is the company explanation for why Chat and Health were named in the refusal instead of being left to implication.

What we publish keeps the money rule tied to document quality on www: if a page cannot survive as a document without an ad, it should not have an ad. That is a publisher inventory rule. It does not pull Chat or Health into inventory. Application hosts remain outside the eligible list even when they are live in the Services directory.

## Checks and refusals

Open About and read the Angel standing test next to the funding list that keeps ads off Health and Chat. Open Privacy sections 1, 3, and 4 and confirm the www-only advertising scope next to the product exclusions and the no-sale sentences. Open Cookies sections 3 and 3a for the exclusion list, eligible publisher pages, notice-not-consent language, and the line that Search queries are not ad-unit input. Open the homepage Services directory and confirm Health and Chat are live hosts that do not load ads.
